Simon,
Thanks for the information about black granite and basalt. I'm glad that you
are here to share your knowledge and experience. Its good to have real facts
that dovetail with shop experiences that are focused on results without
really knowing why.
Iasama Naguchi's work with basalt and other stone that have retained the
look of formation deep in the earth or by erosion and abrasion has always
inspired me. Now that I have a studio where I'm free to do anything, I'm
going to get some!!
