Splitting Basalt
Thanks for the advice Ken and George,
I want an irregular split as if lightening struck the basalt column and
split it like a tree, so I guess that I'm going to have some additional
carving to do. If I split the piece I have to eliminate the drill holes,
or if I saw it I have to make it look jagged, to get the look I want.
