Carbide riffers
Elaine,
I guess it takes alot of different types and sizes of riffers and files. My
question is are the carbide riffers worth the cost? I don't want to waste
money and buy them if they are not much better than the steel ones. After
the earlier discussion about diamond pads not being found worth the cost. I
don't want to bother with the carbide riffers if there is no compelling
reason to do so. Being a novice in stone carving I don't want to invest in
tools that will lay about my shop as white elephants gathering dust.
Unfortunately, I have a few of them already. I'm thinking of making a box
for unused tools and calling it the elephant graveyard.
