ok walter, what is "pitching"?
Hi Edie, I can't stand the suspense, I've got to have a stab at it.
You are probably familiar with the Trow and Holden website:
http://trowandholden.com/techtips.html
Have a look in the video library under "Handset"; to me that's pitchin'
stone - knocking off big lumps using a heavy flat-ended chisel (handset or
pitching tool) struck with a heavy hammer.
Congratulations on your beautiful work, Walter
Regards,
Simon
