Sorry if I can't get off these Japanese granite carvers. What a
vibrant culture. I wonder if it hasn't been a continuous taditional
activity for many generations among certain families.

Here is a list I got that was from a site I already mentioned. I
don't know if anybody looked. This might be a little easier. I'll
start off with Sugawara who I listed earlier just because of his huge
knapped faces. If anybody has any good storylines for how this carver
proceeded I'd love to hear them. Thanks to all, especially George
for trying to give account for the earlier knapped pieces by what's
his name. Kosei?
