Bob, Thanks for the information about steel-working tools. The tip about
soap and water is interesting, something I must try- the water in Brisbane
is hard, and a little soap will add to its wetting properties.
Your air tools are fine for working steel, but how do the bearings stand up
to abrasive stone dust and mud? I bought a cheap 5" angle air sander, fitted
a diamond saw blade, and made a water attachment point on the guard. I have
to regularly pulling it apart to replace bearings and re-grease the drive
gears because water and fine grit enters the housing.
