Subject: why carve & aesthetics

Thanks for your story John, and yours and Elle's take on art, aesthetics. I
wholeheartedly agree. I've never known whether to call myself an artist or
not, I just do what I do, sometimes it has been drawing, sometimes
watercolour. Now with stone, I feel so totally at home, like I've finally
found my medium. What inspires me is the challenge of so many ideas and
possibilities to fulfill. And this wonderful journey that I'm on with each
new type of stone and new processes and tasks to master. It's a very
exciting and fulfilling career path...
Karen
