white granite
Bill,
Even though is not august I'll throw in my 2 cents. I've worked on Mt. Airy
white from North Carolina and something called Bethel White. The 2 were
separated by many years and I think the Bethel was the same as the Mt. Airy.
Anyway, the stone was quite carvable, fine grained, pitched well, and took a
good polish. The one thing I didn't like was that it absorbed stains from
everything. Oil, coffee, wood and dirt soaked in very deep. Since it was
white , the stains stood out .
