Stone Mark-up
Thanks to Bill Weissinger, Clive Murray-White, George
whose last name I should know and J Veniziano for their
replies to my contract and mark-up questions. It is
really complimentary of you all to give you time and
thought to adress my concerns. I value your company very
much.
I have not responded sooner because I have been caught up
in the actual game of contracting and at Clive's
suggestion I have spent an hour with a lawyer and engaged
him to draw up a contract proposal. It will be more
expedient and hard headed than anything I could come up
with I am sure. With the lawyer on the job it is my
feeling I will better be able to focus on what is really
on the line as far as making the job a success and not a
disaster and that is to not bring on failure with poor
design, poor marble selection. For it is become all too
clear to me that I will pay dearly if I screw up.
Thank you all,
Bill
