Harbor Freight has a foldable 2 ton hydraulic shop crane for just under
$200. The question of effects on the stone have to do with how you tie it
for lifting. Rope, net, etc. will not mar the stone. I regularly use a
similar, older and heftier one with the only disadvantage that the small
wheels limit it to use on concrete.
