engine hoist info please

Edie...you have received good info.  A good alternative to an engine  hoist,
depending on circumstances, is an overhead track or I-beam with a  trolley and
chain (or electric) hoist.  You can accomplish your goals  without worrying
about wheel size or debris on the floor...although you are  limited to the
route of your track.

If you have enough ceiling height this choice takes less space and  will put
the stone where you need it.  It requires, however, more  planning and
knowledge to install.
