Small Detail Work - Technique Question
I am working on a piece of Indiana Limestone doing a relief sculpture of
a Buddha draped in lots of cloth. The carved area is approximately 30
inches high by 20 inches wide. The total depth has a maximum range of
less than 2 inches.
My question is: I need to cut some deep inside right angle corners in
tight areas. Do you need to custom make special chisels or can such an
item be purchased that can fit in a very tight area? I'm sure my
problem is just a technique issue as I am self taught with the help of
many publications and this forum. This is my first attempt at this type
of project.
