Hi Ken,
There are many products that would solve your weathering problem, and it's
easy for me to suggest a few while situated remotely from you - ultimately
you must satisfy your own mind about the effectiveness of a treatment system
for your application.
3 adverse factors you must overcome if the limestone is to be located
outside are UV radiation, water (containing additional solvents) and the
sealer itself. A good sealer will block both UV radiation and water without
affecting the stone, however a maintenance regime must be identified and
adhered to.
Contact a local sealer manufacturer for further advice, and ask to see aged
examples of their specified product in situ.
