protecting fossil limestone outside
I got it from Neolithic stone (google for them). It is not your
traditional limestone by any means. Randy calls it "henna limestone",
because the matrix ranges from a dark tan to deep red/brown color.
Since I cut and grind with water I felt like I was spattered with blood
(could have inserted me as an extra in that "Fargo" scene). There are
seemingly more shells than matrix, and I don't think it would be a good
stone to hand carve. Grinder only.

Quoted text begins. Can I ask where you bought the B.C limestone?
I am interested in trying my hand at limestone and I like B.C stone.
Thanks Andy
