End of quote.
Hi Bill M,
'Sintered' means 'crystallised', that is, the diamond borts are integrated
within a (powdered) metal matrix through physical pressure and heating, as
opposed to diamond borts embedded in a molten matrix through electroplating.
The different forming processes have separate applications according to
varying cutting requirements.
