End of quote.
I have two hydraulic lift tables; they're great. One has a top about 2' x
4-1/2' and holds 2500 lbs. The other has a top 2-1/2' x 5-1/2' and holds
8000 lbs. I got them from bankrupt printing companies (they use them to
lift stacks of paper to the paper cutter) and paid about $500 each
(including repair parts).
Unlike most people here, I do almost everything with pallet jacks and fork
lifts, rather than overhead lifts. Therefore these tables are easy to
maneuver- I just pick them up with the pallet jack and roll them around.
The big one also has wheels and a handle to pull it around. I just have to
keep a clean smooth concrete floor (with rubber mats to stand on; those
prevent avoid leg fatigue and back pain).
With these tables, when I move 2" down on a piece of stone, I just hit the
foot pedal and raise the table two inches instead of bending over. They're
worth every penny in how they save the back and conserve your energy.
I also have one of the Weha Satellite rotating work tables from Braxton
Bragg- extremely heavy duty, made in Germany, they'll support 2000 lbs and
raise from about 2' to maybe 3-1/2', cost around $500 or
$550. http://braxtonbragg.com/
It's convenient, easy to wheel around so it's never in the way.
