Quoted text begins.I have been amazed at the work of a New York's artist named Pamela
Soldwedel, I don't know if any of you know her . I love her work and she
does some stone mixed with metals like aluminum
End of quote.
She advertises in the New Yorker. Some of her pieces are quite large,
some made of TN Pink marble. I guess it's a matter of laminating layers
of stone and metal and then carving a block of the stuff to shape.
Keeping the different densities the same shape must be a real trick.
