Spray acrylic on soft stone
When working with softer stone such as alabaster. Do you guys recommend
finishing the piece with a clear spray acrylic? In some ways it seems
like a cheat to get a finished look on a piece. But it also gives it a
hard coating that can prevent scratching. I'm at that point on a piece
I'm doing in Colorado Alabaster and it sure is tempting to finish it off
that way. I've seen pieces that it really enhances the stone and brings
out it's natural color and I've seen others where it seems to cheapen
the piece.
Maybe you guys can recommend an alternative.
Thanks and the Learning Stone ROCKS! (no pun intended)
