staines on marble
Hello everyone
I work for a building company and I sculpt at home..
We are having a big problem on site. One of the walls is composed of tiles
of marble. They are attached by a stainless steel bracket logged in holes
drilled in the marble. To prevent any movement of the tiles, we used a
silicon, oil based by mistake. After a few months, appeared staines
impossible to take away. We heated a few tiles at 500-600°C, and the staines
disappeared. But later, they came back.
Does anyone have an idea what to do, in order not to replace them all.
