Spray acrylic on soft stone
Many thanks to everybody for the advice and also a big shout out to all
you VA carvers! I agree about it creating a barrier between you and the
stone and don't really like a piece that's too shiny. I'll do some
hunting for some better products. I do have a need for something to
apply to the stone in those places that are next to impossible to sand
smooth. Say the inside of a nostril or the crook of a corner. For just
these places, It seems there would be a product to eyedrop in that
permeates the stone and brings out the color.
