Introducing Myself... Sandra - OZ marble
Hi all,
Thanks for the welcome and the welcome advice!
I am looking forward to carving some Chillagoe marble in the future.
Currently, I am also in the process of carving a recrystallised limestone
boulder that I found in a disused quarry... and yes, it is great having that
immediate feel of working with something from your own country. I also like
the challenge of integrating "faults" and discolourations into the finished
carving, which makes me feel quite "organic" :-)
