Hi Ian,
I made a leading-in mallet from a lawn bowl (phenylformaldehyde, otherwise known
as Henselite, similar to Ebonite http://www.henselite.com.au/organ/ .
Found that a wooden bossing hammer works almost as well, except for some end-
grain imprints in the lead.
