Thanks Bill,
The Cerro line of low temp melting alloys was what I had seen but I guess
there are others out there as well.The alloys resemble freshly worked lead
and the fellow who used them for wood objects reported that the wood finish
also kept the metal from oxidizing.I believe he used clear polyurethane.I
would guess the acrylic sealers mentioned in previous threads would work
too.
