Lisa. Look into an electric die grinder (or pneumatic if you
have access to air). Much the same as a dremel only larger, and
there are many sorts of cutters avaliable for them. As for the
holes, you can use what is called a forstner bit on a regular
power drill in softer stone. (I use them in our texas
limestone). This type of bit will give you a nice flat bottom
hole.
