excellent point don!!!
Even when you do rustic work as I do there is the unstated ever present
concept of natural grain. The stone always has a mind of its own, and we
are best to "talk to the stone a bit" to find out what it wants to do. In
my work if I really mess-up a stone.. I just use it as backfill. No loss...
no wailing in camp. wrecking a nice stone I'm sure is a heartbreaker.
