I am really only saying this half jokingly... I have a couple
6' double handled saws that I would love to test on some very soft stone.
End of quote.
Hi Craig I have used the old "Misery whips" to cut softer
limestone many times. Biggest problem is finding someone to
work the other end who knows what they are doing. Pull-- never
push. you'll be surprised how efficiently the saws work. Used
a carpenters hand saw to finish an end trim 5 foot wide by 8
inches thick after starting the cut with my circular saw. Took
maybe 10 mintes.
give it a try. JVC
