where to buy feathers and wedges
I have actually cut firewood with the old misery whips. If you know how to
handle a metal file, and find someone to pull the other end well, you can go
just about as fast as most chainsaws. dang,,,this is just too intriguing.
I am going to go get the biggest soapstone cull that I can carry in my truck
and see what I can do with it. I am starting to feel like a kid that has a
new toy. John... would you recommend cutting it level as one would cut
firewood or diagonally as you would with a pit saw? I would think you could
get a truer cut by cutting it pit style. I am only a weekend warrior with
this stuff these days, and my work is pretty rustic, but it's fun for me,
and it really does get me wound up to get into it.
