I'm not trying to scare you off, just trying to get you started in a way
that will give you a solid base of knowledge and experience.
I agree with what George is saying. I spent almost a year carving a
headstone for my gradbaby who passed away at 4 months....I am not a letterer
so I took the headstone to a local monument shop to have the lettering
sandblasted in......imagine my horror when I went to the monument shop and
found he had mispelled the family name. Best to get all the knowledge and
experience possible.
