Sandblasting vs. lettercutting by hand (For Whom the Bill Toils . . . )
Ian,
Your statement (to all) was very well said, and rings of truth.
Though not a lettercutter (merely a sculptor), I cannot help but feel
that as we all toil in our personal lives we enrich (or deplete) humanity
as a whole. As workers in stone we are all interested in the long term,
else we might work in something more transitory . . . and you said it in
a way to bring a smile to both my face and my heart.
Bravo!
Good carving to you,
Don
