Learningstone:a dinner party
Can you think of the stone site as a virtual continuous dinner
party? There are people you know well, and not at all: conversation bubbles
along, sometimes falters, is revived by a little affectionate , deliberate
provocation.Sometimes someone will get a little drunk & stand on a chair &
recite an incomprehensible poem (about stone), or sing a bawdy, stone
related song. For my part, at a dinner at home, I would rather suffer some
social embarrassment than fail to explore some funny or interesting subject
in conversation. With best wishes Ian.
