Egyptian slaves
Hi Marcus,
I too have wondered aloud the thoughts of the ancient builders. There is
something comforting in sharing the same physical and mental tasks from
generation to generation, regardless of differences in technology and
culture, race and location. We are all the same people through time.
What has changed? Charles Miller: "Plainly, this is a devolution in cultural

The motivation to work is a powerful force, harnessed for good or for evil.
I think the marvel is not 'how were the pyramids built?' but 'how were the
people motivated to work?'
