Introduction & Question
Hi.
I'm new to the group...I've been lurking around for a bit, and thought
I'd introduce myself. I sculpt in soapstone and alabaster right now, and
I'm hoping to move my way "up" to marble. I have many questions and much
to learn, and it looks like I'll be in good hands here!
I currently have a large sculpture in progress, and I've realized I need
to flatten the bottom of it (it's quite rough, and has some growth on it
from the quarry). I think I should be able to roll it off my workbench
onto a table with sandbags on it... but I'm not sure what is the best
way to flatten the bottom. Any suggestions for methods and/or tools?
Thanks!
Julianna
