Subject:
English Limestone.
Hi All
Hoping someone can help me out with some information. Have had
a recent inquiry about a commisioned piece probably in the form
of a relief carved "stele" . The inquirer is English, and the
sculpture is to honor her English grandparents, and she asked
about using an English stone. (we are in Texas)
I have not yet had the privelege of working any of the English
limestones, so
a) can any of you recommend an English limestone suited for this
type carving,
and
b) is there any place here in the states where one could aquire
a smallish slab of said stone???
Thanks for your indulgence,
John VanCamp / JVC Stoneworks
