Cameras
Hi Clive, I use an Olympus Camedia 5050 which got rave reviews from the
camera zines yet is relatively inexpensive ~$450 in the states six
months ago, but I bet you can find a lower street price. It is sort of
35mm in appearance, much more so than the "box type" cameras has plenty
of memory, pixels, takes AA batteries and can be swithed to full manual.
I tend to use the manual shutter setting and the aperature is
displayed in the viewfinder with a bunch of other stuff. The camera is
relatively simple to use, although its got tons of extra doo dads. very
easy computer download, picture storage depends on the size of compact
flash card that you buy. Quality is similar to my Nikon F2 photomic or
my Leica. Hope that this helps. atb, g Oh yeah please note all of that
stuff after my signature too <g >
