Seems as if someone mentioned this somewhere, perhaps for some other
application. I just applied it to the amount of precision used in the
setting of the
15 ton casing stones on the Great Pyramid. I saw these myself. A paperthin
mortar joint between them.
22 acres of these casings from the quarry at Tura. The method of setting
these mandates a duplication of effort for the
entire project from 0 to 325 feet up. This ancient high-tech really
fascinates me. I've been a mason for 31 years and am still
a youngster, eager to explore, learn and apply.
