Bill, thanks for the camera reviews link.
Craig, I agree with your comments about the "computer cameras". I'll
probably stick to the "camera cameras" though...I'm a brand-name snob,
and am very particular about who I let make the products I use :-D
As for the batteries, I find that the more often I use the flash, the
quicker the batteries die. It looks like our solutions are: tote around
batteries or power cords; go back to (or stay with) non-digital cameras;
or buy many stocks of those battery-making companies. (And as a sidebar,
I've heard that some company which makes light bulbs has made a light
bulb which is "eternal", and simply isn't selling it
because...well...why would they? It could be just an urban myth, but
it's food for thought).
