English Limestone.
Ian (one of my favorite references),
My background in geology is limited. Do you have some recommended reading
on types of stone and applications. I know the stuff that we have around
here, and can work with most of it (Well.. all but this black stone.. might
be some form of quartz.. that smashes into little pieces rather that
cracking on the fault-line. Around here we just call it "Black Rock", and
laugh when someone swats it with a 16 pounder.) You folks are talking about
stone of which I have never heard. I will probably never work with any of
it, but kewl stuff to learn is kewl stuff to learn.
