Subject:
Chisels: pointed vs flat?
Hi all and Julianna,
glad to read these postings.
I have been carving marble using only a claw and flat chisels (both
pneumatic and hand)... but have seen points pictured and described in books.
I was a bit confused as to "why use one"... as I seemed to be going along
fine as I was :-)
Clive - the engineers scribe sound interesting... where would I buy one from
please? And do I just walk in, and say "hi, gimme an engineers scribe" or
does it have a more technical name? Being blonde, I prefer to know what I
am asking for or people just think I am being vague :-)
Thanks
Sandra
