Sealing Marble
Hap,
Use stainless steel pins , not rebar. Threaded rod has good holding power. A
small hammerdrill and masonry bits will do the drilling. 6"deep holes into
the base and the statue should be deep enough.
Sealing tenn. pink is kind of a wast of time in my opinion, it is a very
stain resistant stone. Regular washing with a gentle , non-abrasive cleaner
would do more good then sealing.
What kind of finish does the statue have?
