Hi John or anyone else with answers!!! I'm a professional stone
sculptor (stonesculptures.net badly needs updating) & I read one of
your replies. I have a couple questions you might be able to answer:
I'd like to find an impregnator/sealer for exterior use that gives uv
protection, is clear/nonyellowing (I have a lot of bright white
Colorado marble) & not glossy or plastic looking...something sculptors
love using. For years every sculpture I've sold was for indoor use
but seems I have more & more interest for exterior applications.

Secondly, you mention "the acid-calcite reaction". I've recently
sculpted four pieces of the translucent Utah golden calcite, have 11
more pieces of it so I'd better find out what you mean by this
reaction. I have a large piece that would be great outside with
bright sunshine but of course, there's acid rain; does this have
anything to do with what you said? I've had the largest piece stored
outside on dunnage for a year with no change, but then I live in dry
Colorado (1/2 hour northwest of Boulder if anyone is close enough to
come for a studio visit, trade some stone, etc.).

I haven't updated my website for a couple years (moved 30 years of
marriage household a year ago, got settled, built studio, sculpted for
shows, have other employment, & I'm really limited on the computer). I
have a big request to someone who is both creative & has computer
know-how, an artistic geek: could you contact me privately at my
email address: anniesculpts@------- with any suggestions on what to
change besides new photos, etc etc etc. If possible, leave your phone
# so I can call you. I'd rather sculpt so have learned very little
about computers. I'd rather not use the same nice young guy who did
my original site because he's not artistic, but he used something my
husband called flash ??? & we don't have that capability...it'd cost
too much too start over from square one. I need to pay the right
person to do a sharp improved site that gets lots of action. I don't
gravitate to all that left brain tech stuff, but I do know how to
sculpt so I stick with what I know.. Have enjoyed getting to know a
few of you from reading everyone's messages.

Happy creating,
Annie Pasikov
