Josep María Subirachs
re Suberachs, he's done some great stuff and some not-so-great stuff.
there's a humorous/elegant torso/column in Palma de Mallorca, a photo
of it can be seen in the current exhhibition on the Tektonika Gallery
page at www.stonefoundation.org. I must say though that in
comparison with Gaudi's lyrical sculpture on the eastern Annunciation
facade of the Sagrada Familia, Suberachs' tableau of the Passion on
the western facade seems rather clunky.
