But will it last for centuries? The mother metal in stainless is
steel or iron and they have a high rate of corrosion. Maybe some one
with more knowledge than I could weigh in on the subject. I did read
an article that said the most indestructible metal was gold and it
doesn't corrode....but I don't think I'll be using it any time soon
for my pins.
