Cool fresh start
Hello Everyone,
My name is Marc Anderson, I live in the small town of Russiaville, Indiana.
I am a brick and stone mason who started my trade in 1973 This skill
developed easily for me and I found myself enjoying the more difficult
portions of building projects like, radius walls, arch-systems, stone
panels, etc.
In 1988 I met a developer who enlisted me to design and build for a downtown
renovation project. This led to some very eclectic and old world facade
treatments. The whole emphasis with these projects are creativity and
quality, budgets seemed to finish last. I've done some landmark projects
which are limestone composites of up to 20 building demolitions from all
over Indiana. I do occasionally carve little details in small pieces where
needed, but generally I'm setting ornate salvage on some new building, or
tweeking flat stock into something outlandish. The idea is to make each
succeeding project a new expression, original as possible. This can be
grueling athletic work and I keep sports supplements close at hand.
It's overall a good way to make a living and enjoyable to express yourself
with what you do. Now, if I can get my wife to make up her mind on which
dig-camera to buy, I will build a website of my projects.
Marc
