larger than life
Have you guys seen the sculpture in Atlanta's airport? It is amazing, huge
sculptures from Africa
- Zimbabwe- I don't know why in the website they have it in the kid's club
section because the sculptures were all over the transportation tunnel
underneath the airport. They are huge, around 7 feet tall and massive, very
organic and sensual. You feel so compelled to touch them and it is difficult
to get to your gate on time with so many and so little time.
I don't know about all of you, but I love African art, primitive in concept
and exquisite in craftsmanship. It is like a visual magnet for
me...well..the truth is most art is like a magnet for me.....:), an art
junky or something like that.
