Subject: urban carving (was introduction and question about tools)

Regarding Jane's question and quiet oil-free compressors. I know this
has been done a bit, but perhaps another discussion of urban (and
suburban) carving would be useful?

getting (big?) stone delivered, dust control, noise control, piles of
rock, and how and where to get rid of large amounts of heavy waste the
trash men won't remove.

there must be lots of cramped urban carvers out there, with too-close
neighbours, who have great solutions.
