Angle grinders
I've managed to trash a couple of small (115mm or 4.5"
if you prefer) angle grinders - both went phut after
not that much use (before their bushes needed
replacing anyway). I put the first one down to abuse
during shed demolition (not by me!); the second one
though was well looked after, well, apart from cutting
slate and limestone. Both angle grinders were cheap -
on the principle of use and chuck* - I don't want to
repair such a tool - I'd rather carve. The blades I
used were also cheap - the standard abrasive disks.
Might the grinders have lasted longer if I had used
diamond disks?
* but not after only a few jobs!
Cheers
Deb
