Angle grinders
Deb,
How you choose to abuse your tools is a private matter, so is hard to say
why your grinders are not holding up. If you are buying those 30 dollare
specials, then you get what you pay for! Diamond blades take less pressure
to cut stone, so that might help prolong the life of a grinder motor.
I'm using a large , heavy grinder that is 5 years old. It cost about 200
dollars, and just keeps going. Frankly, I'm getting tired of looking at
it, but there is a lot of use still in it.
If you are spending 50 dollars a year on cheap , light tools that serve your
purpose, then I'd say you are doing great!
Good carving to you.
