Angle grinders
Replenishing grease for the gears in your angle grinder, in addition to
keeping the motor clean, can add to its service life. It's quite simple...remove
the housing (generally, 4 screws), clean especially around housing seal, add
grease, replace housing. If dust/dirt is entering the gear housing, then
you need to tend to a seal problem. When to add grease? When you notice the
grinder becoming noisier...you have to pay attention, since they are never
quiet.
Cheers, Philip Whitley
