Druckluftwerkzeuge und Hartmetallwerkzeuge
Hi
I'm glad some are having fun with Druckluftzuege at Gemba.
Itsn't it fun? I just happen to have a dictionary.
Druckluftwerkzeug! I do hope you can get the password to
work. Sometimes it has seemed I must try it several times
to get a go. Simon, do you shop here?
http://www.cdkstone.com.au
They seem to be affililated with distributors such a Konig
Schmieder, same as Granquartz,
The neat thing is that what is there is still only partial
I am sure. Talking to the Granquartz sales rep has left
me with the impression that to get the full dope one must
spend $75 for a catalog, but he is happy to fax requested
information. Does anyone else think those Bohler hammers
are just beautiful? The F&K are quite lovely too. I got
the idea to look for the Bohler after reading Hironori
Katagiri's account in his diary
http://www.ukishima.net/
of this "funtastic" new hammer he purchased for a big
project which would involve alot of curved, shaped
surfaces. He even provided a picture of his shiny new
hammer, saying it was a "Boerer" and was just like the one
he had used in the Austrian carving symposium
http://www.bg-bab.ac.at/kunst/steinund.htm
and was the favorite tool there for granite. Well it
turns out there is a whole line of these hammers as well,
and in many sizes. Apparently there are other
manufacturers of other large hammers: Krupp, Bavaria, F&K.
I would hazard an ignorant guess that they are likely
very similar in function to the native chipping hammers of
the U.S. Ours here though just don't have the chisel
selection. There is no carbide point made for our
hammers, and the carbide bush hammer selection is very
limitied. There is much to for me to learn. Where Trow
and Holden leaves off, a whole new world begins...
