Also in Liberty Hill, Tx. Organized by local sculptor Mel
Fowler as a Bicentenial event, The symposium was held during the
fall of 1976. 20 some sculptors from around the world lived in
our community for up to 2 months, and each left behind a major
work . Most were in local stone, both limestone and granite,
but there are a few that utilized other materials such as
cement, and steel. The collection is currently on the grounds
of the Liberty Hill Middle School. Try this link:
